Pre-blues to Monday

I realize if I on my PC after 11.00pm I am guarantee to sleep after 12.00am. Internet by itself has manage to make the population sleep lesser and I am not talking about the XYZ generation. My dearest mum herself was found online at 1.00am. What the....? 100 hundred years down the road, scholars will dub this century as 'The Sleepless Era of Techonology'.

Weekdays and weekend was spent busy getting Moo's birthday celebration in place. After is said and done, I will never apply for an event coordinator job. For such a simple celebration there is a lot to be done and it's extra challenge to do it sneakily as Moo and me are so close, we woke each other up with our nightmare shouts. Anyway everything well until the cake came out. I miscalculated Moo's age and end up putting one extra candle and the best thing is I even manage to convince her of it.. faint. After she blew them all, another friend of ours confirm she should be one year younger. Being the very resourceful BA that I am, I declare it's her chinese age. *kua kua kua (flying crows)

Prior to the cake coming out, we also had an episode with the waitress. She asked if we want to ta pau the cake or serve it. I told her we want to eat it here. Then she said she will serve the cake to us. I asked her what does she mean by serving the cake and she give the look like I left my brain at home. Then she repeat that she will serve the cake loh which she hopes explains everything. Then she gave a smile and left probably going back to kitchen to talk about me. Perhaps I should have been more clear. I should have asked her if she is going to cut up the cake and serve us? Faint~ 'sat pai' as a BA.

The dinner is held at Buffet Town, Raffles City- can be reached by City Hall MRT. Previously this place is called Osaka Town. The phone works but it's engage 99% of the time. Reservations 3 days in advance or you must go there one hour earlier to wait in queue like us. Plenty of variety but I just whacked the oysters, salmon and satay. The champion eater goes to Chicky Family. 3 of them eat like 6 people. Moo has all the pictures. Bet she gonna post it soon.

On a side, just got news Bao Bao passed away. It's our hamster. It injured itself last 2 weeks and passed away tonight. I am sure he is hamster heaven now. RIP.
